Second Semester of 2016 brough about another round of the ROCS Choral Composition Competition (ROCCC). Members of AICSA choirs from around Australia, especially ROCS members, were encouraged to try their hand at original choral composition and have it performed on stage.

With works like Whitacre’s Lux Aurumque and Lauridsen’s O Nata Lux, this concert was a journey of luscious harmonies with an unadulterated a capella choral sound.

R.O.C.S' Sweet 16th 2015 (Sem 1)

Celebrating 16 years of singing together, ROCS put on their Sweet 16 concert to celebrate growing up. Included were songs collected based on the 16 theme - by title, theme or date written. As a special treat ROCS founder Sandra Bogerd played a set on the Hurdy Gurdy for all to enjoy.

Get Your ROCS Off 2014 (Sem 2)

Run in conjunction with Queermance Writer's Festival, Get Your ROCS Off was a special mix of choral and cabaret. Held at Hares and Hyenas bookshop/bar, the not-quite-straight and the undertoned (and overtones) of drinking in the songs meant a lively night was had by all.
